ABOUT Hilary Strickland
“ Art, Nature and Tranquility in Your Home” is the foundation of my work as an artist-maker. I turn my watercolour paintings into homewares such as table-linens, cushions, lampshades as well as prints and cards.
With a lifelong appreciation and respect for the natural world, being outdoors is a place I love to be - absorbing the expanses of land, sea, sky. Working from my home in Bath I use pencil, watercolour and washes to capture the intricacies and beauty of wildlife around us - from the delicacy of a dragonfly's wing to the vibrancy of poppies.
