There is nothing quite like a home cooked, wood fired pizza, there is no comparison! If you are (like us) the type of people who consider pizza to be essential life stuff then this cutter is surely something you need in your pizza arsenal! Despite the cutter not having a metal blade, the hardwood and bevelled edge combine to make cutting pizza an easy and enjoyable part of dinner. Simply rock back and forth with the cutter, exerting only light pressure and before too long you'll have slices to share (or not).
This will make a unique gift for a summer al fresco get together, a house warming gift, and will make an ideal Father's Day gift. You could also consider this as a great 5th wedding anniversary, which of course (as you well know) is celebrated by exchanging wooden gifts.
Our pizza cutters are all handmade in our workshop in Cumbria and we use wood from fallen trees, on this occasion it's a sycamore which fell during a winter storm a few years ago.
Each cutter is unique and once cut, we nourish it with food safe chopping board oil, twice. Your cutter is full of character and the grain will vary, there may also be knots and natural markings which should be considered part of its beauty. There is a maker's mark branded onto one side of the cutter.
If you feel your cutter is looking a little tired after a few years, you can still rejuvenate it again very easily with a light sand and reseal it with chopping board oil.
Our cutters are made from sycamore and the overall size is approximately 19cm wide x 15cm x .7cm.
There is a central hole to provide an ergonomic grip, which makes the required rocking motion very easy.
Please hand wash only, wipe clean and please avoid scrubbing with abrasives. NOT suitable for a dishwasher or microwave.

We are Supplies For Life, a family run creative team based in the North of England. Our work and processes reflect the joy of simple living, finding inspiration in the beauty of nature and the tranquility of rural life. We create heirloom-quality pieces that marry utility with beauty, from home-ware to thoughtful gifts for your loved ones.
Each item in our range has been meticulously designed and lovingly crafted using mainly British native hardwoods and natural textiles like linen and cotton. We believe in creating products that not only enhance your daily life but also become treasured family pieces, passed down through generations.
At Supplies For Life, we believe in the magic of crafting pieces by hand & in the beauty of imperfections, which serve to enhance the natural qualities of the materials we use in our work & what sets us apart is our deeply personal approach to craftsmanship.
Our studio is more than just a workspace; it's a place where creativity flourishes and ideas come to life. Nestled in the picturesque landscapes of rural Cumbria, our little black log cabin serves as the heart of our creative process.
Outside of Supplies For Life you will often find Jamie working on a project, be that converting a van, building a garden pub or continuing the renovations of our 19th Century farmhouse. Catherine, on the other hand, can be found pottering in the polytunnel, tending to her veg garden, feeding her chickens or baking in the kitchen. You could call it living the good life.
