Blue & White Botanical Tablecloth

The Blue & White Company was born from a pure love of colour and design.  With a background in the arts, and having trained in artefact conservation and restoration, I carry a deep understanding of how our busy lives can be enhanced with beautiful things that are fundamentally practical and easy to enjoy. 

My desire has always been to share my love of this colour combination whilst offering unique and affordable items that have a sense of old time elegance within a contemporary style.  Design inspiration is often sparked from the smallest detail in art history, and my love of the unusual!  Texture is also a focus in the development of an item, for as anyone who has restored anything will share, how we hold, use and care for things tells so many stories, and so I ensure we apply the softest organic cottons and tactile finishes on each piece. 

Blue has long been associated with wisdom, trust and loyalty in artistic heritage but it also brings a sense of calm even within a striking or bold statement piece.  This aspect makes it a true intergenerational connector.

Based in Oxford, my love of the creative and making process has only blossomed as I have developed my business and I have carefully sourced small manufacturers who also share my passion for quality and sustainability.
