‘Shall I Compare Thee To A Summer’s Day?' (Sonnet 18) by William Shakespeare, @1564-1616
The inspiration for this artwork are the fragrant blooms gathered in armfuls from borders at the height of summer and loosely placed in a natural, overflowing display. It's drawn with a fine dip pen in grey ink, watercolours and crayons.
The quote is drawn with the same fine dip pen in grey ink.
The artwork is placed in an antique 19th century wooden frame. The frame is gilded and has a moulding detail. The frame has dings and dents with some moulding missing which is commensurate with its age. Please have a careful look at the pictures. This is an original piece of art in an antique frame.

The greeting card printers are based in Kent and use carbon neutral print presses in a solar-powered warehouse. Their paper is from an FSC-certified supplier. I use Italian and British-made art papers for original art pieces.
The studio waste is recycled, composted or incinerated at a power station which generates electricity for the local area.
I use paper packaging, biodegradable bubble wrap, British-made tissue paper, brown paper sticky tape, recycled brown wrapping paper and reused boxes for all my packaging.
Proudly made in England.
