Imagine the anticipation of unwrapping a delicious looking humbug with a secret centre.
How tempting would these look in a bowl for wedding guests to help themselves too, or on a plate enticing guests as they sit down for dinner. Got the grandchildren over for the weekend? Whip out a bowl of humbugs for that extra special treat that only grandparents do best.
Three humbugs in each bamboo punnet that can be filled with trinkets and treasures, messages of love and jewellery, sweets and chocolate, let your imagination go. Give individually or fill all three and give as an alternative to the usual box of chocolates.
Unwrap the humbugs in this punnet to find inside a small metal tin, ready to be filled with treats. They can be used over and over. Included is a small guide on how best to wrap and retie the humbugs once you have filled them. There's even some extra ribbon included, just in case.
Need more than a set of three? Then don't worry, these are also sold in larger batches so that they can be used as wedding or party favours, or perhaps you want to pop lots in a bowl at Christmas for guests to help themselves to. If so then select the bulk variation at checkout for ten humbugs. Please note that these will not come with the bamboo punnet as they are designed for you to give individually.
Sizes:
Each humbug is aprox 15.5cm long. The tin inside is 5.5cm x 4.5cm x 1.8cm
The punnet containing all three humbugs measures 18cm x 11.5cm x 5.5cm
Available also as sets of ten.
Not sure what a humbug is?
A humbug is a traditional boiled sweet. It is also a word from the 19th century to mean a trick played upon unsuspecting people. What could be more apt as these are not all that they seem at first glance.

Our work and processes reflect the joy of simple living, finding inspiration in the beauty of nature and the tranquility of rural life. We create heirloom-quality pieces that marry utility with beauty, from home-ware to thoughtful gifts for your loved ones.
Each item in our range has been meticulously designed and lovingly crafted using mainly British native hardwoods and natural textiles like linen and cotton. We believe in creating products that not only enhance your daily life but also become treasured family pieces, passed down through generations.
At Supplies For Life, we believe in the magic of crafting pieces by hand & in the beauty of imperfections, which serve to enhance the natural qualities of the materials we use in our work & what sets us apart is our deeply personal approach to craftsmanship.
Our studio is more than just a workspace; it's a place where creativity flourishes and ideas come to life. Nestled in the picturesque landscapes of rural Cumbria, our little black log cabin serves as the heart of our creative process.
Outside of Supplies For Life you will often find Jamie working on a project, be that converting a van, building a garden pub or continuing the renovations of our 19th Century farmhouse. Catherine, on the other hand, can be found pottering in the polytunnel, tending to her veg garden, feeding her chickens or baking in the kitchen. You could call it living the good life.
