Handcrafted stoneware, made in Oxfordshire
A vase that holds water or stands alone as sculpture. Thrown on the wheel, finished by hand, this sculptural form bridges everyday function and gallery presence. Made in our Oxfordshire studio from stoneware clay, it is both a home for fresh flowers and a meditation on shape, line and surface. Each vase is unique, no two exactly alike. What begins as clay becomes a statement piece that anchors a room or adds quiet beauty to your table.
Form & Character
The form draws from Korean tradition, where the moon vase bridges the gap between vessel and sculpture. This piece has an organic, gently rounded body that feels substantial in the hand and grounds itself in a space. The wide mouth invites fresh flowers or stands empty, catching light and shadow across its surface. There is a quietness to the form, an understated dignity. It reads equally well as a functional object or as a standalone sculptural gesture. The walls of the vase have weight and presence, yet the piece remains elegant, unfussy.
