Featuring a sanded canvas that softens and ages beautifully. This jacket is handmade to order in my Lancashire studio. In a colour that we love to call hornbeam, the Jack is an everyday staple jacket. Influenced by work jackets but made beautifully feminine with a floral binding trim on the inside, a rounded collar and rounded sleeve vents. A timeless classic. An inverted pleat at the centre back creates a gentle A-line swing. This style sits on the hip. See garment size chart for length.
Model is 170 cm a UK size 16 and is wearing a size 3.
The Story
Jack was my grandad and my mum's dad. He was raised on a Withnell farm and as a young man went to war during WW1. On his return, the family farm had been sold as him mum couldn't manage it alone. Jack loved the land, and he worked on other farms around Withnell for the rest of his life. A chore style jacket is a fitting style for my grandad.
