Cornish art by British contemporary artist Diane Griffiths. In the 15th century the harbour or ‘new quay’ was built which is said to give Newquay its name today. This contemporary painting is based on a view looking over the harbour and across the Newquay beaches and coastline. Wildflowers framing the bottom of the painting as your eye is drawn into the centre over the boats, through the harbour entrance and beyond. It’s a bright and cheerful painting, reminding me of a sunny spring day.
Printed locally in Newquay.
Printed on thick 350gsm white card 15x15cm.
Blank inside with white envelope.
This was the photo I used as part of my inspiration for this painting.
