While it may occasionally be suitable for an outdoor sheltered door that is not overly exposed to the elements, it is best used in a porch or indoors on a wall, door, or piece of furniture. Should it become dusty over time, you can carefully remove the dust using a hair dryer and then lightly spray it with hairspray to rejuvenate it.
