tags have always fascinated me. There’s something about their presence — strong, still, and quietly commanding — especially when you catch a glimpse of them in the early morning or fading evening light.
This artwork began as a detailed coloured-pencil drawing, built up slowly layer by layer to capture the texture of the fur, the weight of the antlers, and that steady, watchful gaze.
I wanted the finished piece to feel calm yet powerful. The kind of artwork that settles into a space and reveals more the longer you spend with it.
Mounted and ready for framing, this print makes a beautiful addition to a living room, bedroom, hallway, or reading corner — anywhere you want a quiet connection to the natural world.
It also makes a thoughtful gift for wildlife lovers or anyone drawn to the grounded, enduring presence of these incredible animals.
