Handcrafted stoneware, made in Oxfordshire
A tall stoneware vase that stands with quiet sculptural presence. Whether you fill it with fresh or dried flowers, or let it anchor a space empty on display, this handcrafted piece earns its place as both a functional vessel and a decorative object. Made in our Oxfordshire studio, each vase is thrown by hand and finished with intention. You choose how it lives in your home.
Form & Character
This vase rises with an elegant, purposeful form. Its height gives it presence on a shelf or table, while its narrow opening holds flowers with gentle constraint. The surface catches light and shadows, inviting you to look closer. Every angle tells something. A vase this scale doesn't fade into the background. It holds the room. The proportions are considered. Whether on a sideboard, a desk, or a living room shelf, it reads as both sculptural piece and functional vessel. It earns its presence. The form is its own statement.
Made for the table, built for display
A vase lives a double life. On a table, it holds your fresh flowers or dried stems with purpose and grace. It sits at the heart of a space, refreshing the room with seasonal blooms. But even when empty, it earns its place on display. You return to it, again and again. Each time you choose a new arrangement, a new seasonal palette, a new way to anchor the room. This is a piece you'll live with, change with, and return to. It's built to become part of how you move through your home.
Handcrafted in Oxfordshire
Every vase is thrown by hand in our Oxfordshire studio. The making starts at the wheel, where the clay is centered and lifted into form. The opening is shaped with intention. The walls are refined by hand until they hold the right proportion and strength. No two pieces are exactly alike. This is not a limitation. It's the heart of the work. Small variations in form, in tone, in the surface itself, tell the story of the hand that made it. These differences are what make each piece unique. The studio works in small batches, keeping the work close and considered.
Quality & care
This vase is fired to Cone 6 in an electric kiln, a measure of heatwork that transforms the clay body into something dense, hard-wearing, and non-porous. The stoneware becomes chip-resistant and built for daily use. It will age well, growing richer with time and changing arrangements. It's food-safe if you choose to use it for floral food or water. Care is simple. Hand-wash is recommended to preserve the surface, though many choose to use it with care in the dishwasher. This is a piece made to be used, touched, and lived with.
