A handmade stoneware vase holds the moment a room changes. It is made to cradle flowers or stand alone as sculptural form, catching light and anchoring your space. Thrown by hand from stoneware and fired to strength in our Oxfordshire studio, each piece brings quiet presence to wherever it rests. The form rises from the clay with character all its own. No two pieces are exactly alike. This is what handmade means. This is Brooker Ceramics.
Form & Character
This vase reads as sculptural form. A tulip-shaped body rises from its base with presence. The form suggests movement. Where straight lines might feel architectural, the gentle curve of this vase feels organic. It is held in mid-gesture. Narrowing slightly at the neck, it has visual lightness despite its weight. In the hand, the form feels substantial and grounded. The walls of the vessel are smooth to the touch, warm with the subtle texture of thrown stoneware. Set on a shelf or surface, it commands attention without demanding it. It stands on its own. It holds space.
